Shipping Information

At RH Fermented Food, we take care to pack every order securely, so your fermented products arrive safely and in good condition.
Our products are made in small batches in South Wales and shipped with care using suitable protective packaging for glass jars.

UK Delivery
We currently offer delivery within the United Kingdom.
Orders are usually processed within 1–3 working days. During busy periods, local markets or production weeks, dispatch may take slightly longer.

Once your order has been dispatched, delivery time will depend on the courier service used (Royal Mail, Evri etc).
Typical delivery times:
• Standard UK delivery: 2–4 working days (£3.99)
• Next Day UK delivery: 1-2 working days (£5.99)
• Local delivery or collection: by arrangement where available

We recommend placing orders earlier in the week where possible to reduce the chance of parcels being held over a weekend.

Live Fermented Products
Our fermented foods are raw and unpasteurised.
This means they are live products and should be handled with care once received.
Please unpack your order promptly and keep products refrigerated once purchased or received.

Storage guidance:
• Keep refrigerated once purchased
• Once opened, consume within 14 days
• Ensure the lid is tightened properly after use

Packaging
We pack our jars carefully using protective packaging to reduce the risk of breakage during transit.
As our products are packed in glass jars, please inspect your parcel when it arrives.

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible with:
• Your order number
• Photos of the damaged parcel
• Photos of the damaged item
We will review the issue and arrange a suitable solution where appropriate.

Local Collection
Local collection may be available by arrangement.
If you are based in South Wales and would like to collect your order, please contact us before placing your order or leave a note at checkout.

Farmers Markets & Local Events
RH Fermented Food also sells at local markets and events.
If you would like to collect a specific product at an upcoming market, please contact us in advance so we can confirm availability.

Missed Deliveries
Please make sure your delivery address is correct and that someone is available to receive the parcel where possible.
If a parcel is delayed because of an incorrect address, missed delivery, or failure to collect from a courier depot, RH Fermented Food cannot be responsible for product deterioration caused by the delay.

Returns
Due to the nature of food products, we are unable to accept returns on perishable or chilled food items unless the product is faulty or damaged on arrival.
If there is a problem with your order, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and we will do our best to help.

Trade & Wholesale Delivery
For restaurants, cafés, farm shops, delis and wholesale customers, delivery or collection options will be arranged separately depending on order size and location.
